Ernesto's Coffee & Artisan Foods is a café at 15 Rathgar Road in Rathmines, Dublin 6. It is a small room, cosy rather than grand, with seats inside, tables out on the roadside for the good days, and a backyard hidden away behind.
The coffee is single estate, served as espresso, flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes and iced coffee, with tea and hot chocolate alongside. The food leans Italian and Mediterranean and is handmade from fresh ingredients: sandwiches, goat's cheese salads and soup at lunch, and meringues, scones, croissants and brownies on the counter.
The doors are open seven days — Monday to Friday from 8am, Saturday and Sunday from 9am, until 4pm.
